Ancient Amlash and Cycladic art can be found in galleries not far from modern African caryatids and Japanese woodblock prints at The Art Museum at MSU. Over 7,000 pieces of art are held by the museum, which has an impressive collection of modern art pieces and over 1,000 photographs. The museum is on the first floor of the Kresge Art Center center in the northern portion of the Michigan State University campus, right beside the Red Cedar River.
